Real-Time Mapping |
Treis developed a real-time mapping application for MIT Lincoln Laboratory and the US Army. This application is used to track vehicles that are providing GPS updates via a satellite or cellular link. The communications link can be configured for either TCP messages or UDP datagrams. The map tiles can be loaded dynamically from an internet-based tile server, or can be cached locally for off-line operation. This mapping application was written using cross platform tools so that it can be compiled natively for operation on Windows, Linux, or MacOS. |
